This is a go to family recipe-so much so that my daughter used it as her contribution to her Naval Academy Class of 2009 Cookbook An Officer and a Lady’s Cookbook. You can purchase the entire cookbook at this link.
Katrina’s Easy Peach Cobbler
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
Large can drained peaches or other fruit
Sugar and cinnamon
- Mix the first five ingredients for the first layer
- Pour into a 9×13″ glass pan or 4 quart casserole dish.
- Lay fruit slices over the top and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon to taste
- Bake in 350 until golden brown (around 20 minutes).
